The Ludwig's Corner Riding & Driving Club is a non-profit organization composed of over 100 people who enjoy horses and riding.
Members include both English and Western pleasure horseback riders, carriage drivers, and competitors of all ages and skill levels.
Club members live and/or ride within trailering distance from Ludwig’s Corner, located in central Chester County, southeastern Pennsylvania.

Monthly activities for members include meetings, trail rides, guest speakers and the club newsletter.
The club also sponsors rides which are open to the general riding community.
Annual dues are collected to fund club activities, and for donation to worthy equine and open-space organizations.

Monthly Club Meeting-

7 pm - May 20th, 2008 - Peace by Piece Farm in Chester Springs, PA. BRING CHAIRS! The meeting will be held after the clinic.

Directions: From the south - From the intersection of Routes 401 and 113, head north on 113. Pass the Chester Springs Post Office on your right, and Montgomery School on your left. Continue north and look for Hallman's Store on the left.
Turn left there onto Pikeland Road, and you will dead-end into Art School Road.
Turn left again and go through the village of Yellow Springs. You will cross a narrow bridge and immediately the road will make a sharp right. Do not turn right there but proceed straight ahead into a driveway, where you will see a sign for
Peace by Piece Farm. Go up the driveway a short distance and park on the left, in the grassy area near the trailers.
Be sure to go all the way up to the gravelly entrance to this area, as the driveway drops off into the grass. Walk up the driveway and sit outside the ring, either in the grass along the driveway or at the end of the ring near the barn.

 

 

                    ●  The May LCR&DC program will be a Hunter Clinic at Peace by Piece Farm in Chester Springs, PA, presented by Alison Haase,
                        trainer and instructor. At the clinic, Alison will demonstrate how to get a horse to jump in good hunter form with rhythm and
                        balance, and will focus on: seeing a distance, striding and rider position. 
                        She will answer questions and not only tell us how to correct problems, but actually show us.
                        Alison came to this area recently and is working out of a lovely facility on Art School Road just south of the village of Yellow
                        Springs.
                        She is an accomplished rider, instructor and trainer. She attained the coveted rank of A level in Pony Club when  she was only 16
                        years old, and excels in many disciplines. She has competed at the Intermediate/Advanced level of Eventing, has competed
                        successfully in Dressage at fourth level, and has campaigned two horses in YR Dressage at Championships.
                        She recently entered the Hunter-Jumper ring where she is now competing and placing at big AA shows at level 7-8 and Grand
                        Prix.
